8 Steps to de-cluttering your home
When it comes to de-cluttering your living room there are a few simple but effective steps to follow:
Step 1 - Set aside a block of time to focus on de-cluttering
To de-clutter and organize your space, you’ll need to commit at least one hour to each area you wish to organize.
You can schedule time in your planner to tackle your home organizing. The best way to ensure you get organized is to do it in chunks of a few hours each weekend or during your off-days. If you don’t prioritize it, it will never get done, so make sure you write it down and follow through.
Step 2 - Only keep items you’ve used within the past year
